Chicken noodle soup

Here’s a classic chicken noodle soup 🍜
Simple, comforting, and easy to make.

Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients

  • 1–2 cups cooked chicken (shredded or diced)
  • 1 tablespoon oil or butter
  • 1 small onion (chopped)
  • 1 carrot (sliced)
  • 1 celery stalk (sliced)
  • 4–5 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup egg noodles
  • Salt & pepper
  • Optional: garlic, parsley

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat oil/butter and cook onion, carrot, and celery until soft.
  2. Add broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  3. Stir in noodles and cook until tender (8–10 minutes).
  4. Add chicken and heat through.
  5. Season with salt & pepper.
  6. Sprinkle with parsley if you like and serve warm.

Tips

  • Don’t overcook noodles—they get mushy.
  • Add a splash of lemon for fresh flavor.
  • Great with crackers or bread.
