Classic Club Sandwich
Ingredients
- 3 slices toasted bread (white, wheat, or sourdough)
- 2–3 slices cooked chicken or turkey
- 2 slices cooked bacon
- 2 slices cheese (optional)
- Lettuce leaves
- Tomato slices
- Mayonnaise (or mayo + a little mustard)
- Salt & pepper
Steps
- Toast the bread:
Toast all three slices until golden. - First layer:
Spread mayo on one slice. Add lettuce, tomato, chicken/turkey, and a little salt & pepper. - Middle slice:
Place the second slice on top. Spread mayo on it, then add bacon and cheese. - Top it off:
Finish with the third slice of bread. - Cut & serve:
Secure with toothpicks and cut into quarters.
