🍫 White Chocolate Caramel Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, cut into pieces
  • ½ cup heavy cream, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup white chocolate chips or chopped white chocolate

Instructions

1️⃣ Make the Caramel

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt sugar slowly, stirring occasionally until it becomes amber-colored.

  2. Carefully add butter (mixture will bubble vigorously). Stir until melted and combined.

2️⃣ Add Cream

  1. Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring.

  1. Remove from heat and stir in white chocolate until melted.
  2. Stir in vanilla.

4️⃣ Cool & Store

  • Let cool slightly before using as a sauce.
