These Apple Pie Biscuits are warm, gooey, and super easy — like a shortcut apple cobbler made with canned biscuits 🍎🥧


🍎 Apple Pie Biscuits

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuits (Grands-style works best)
  • 1 can (21 oz) apple pie filling
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional glaze:

  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1–2 tbsp milk
  • ¼ tsp vanilla

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
Grease a baking dish (8×8 or similar).

2️⃣ Prep apples
Chop the apple pie filling into smaller pieces for easier layering.

3️⃣ Flatten biscuits
Press each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.

4️⃣ Fill & layer
Spoon apples onto each biscuit. You can:

  • Fold them over like turnovers or
  • Layer biscuits and apples in the dish casserole-style.

5️⃣ Make the sauce
Mix melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla.
Pour evenly over the biscuits.

6️⃣ Bake
Bake 35–40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.

7️⃣ Glaze (optional)
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla. Drizzle over warm biscuits.

  • Add chopped pecans for crunch
  • Serve warm with vanilla ice cream
  • Sprinkle coarse sugar on top before baking for crisp texture
