Here’s a fresh, crunchy broccoli salad that’s quick and really popular 🥦
Ingredients (serves 3–4)
- 3 cups broccoli florets (raw, bite-size)
- ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup raisins or dried cranberries
- ¼ cup sunflower seeds or chopped nuts
- ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Dressing
- ½ cup mayonnaise or Greek yogurt
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1–2 tbsp honey or sugar (to taste)
- Salt & pepper
Instructions
- Prep broccoli
Wash and cut broccoli into small florets. Peel and slice the stems thinly if using. - Mix salad
In a large bowl, combine broccoli, onion, dried fruit, seeds, and cheese. - Make dressing
Whisk together mayo (or yogurt), vinegar, honey/sugar, salt, and pepper. - Combine
Pour dressing over the salad and toss well. - Chill
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
