🧾 Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 packet (7 g) Active dry yeast
  • ¾ cup warm Milk
  • 2 tbsp Butter, melted
  • 2–3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1–1½ cups Shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp Dried parsley (optional, for garnish)

👨‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Prepare the dough
    • In a small bowl, dissolve yeast and sugar in warm milk. Let sit 5–10 minutes until foamy.
    • In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Add yeast mixture and melted butter. Mix into a soft dough.
    • Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  2. Shape breadsticks
    • Roll dough into a rectangle or long ropes and place on a greased baking sheet.
  3. Add garlic and cheese
    • Mix minced garlic with a little melted butter and brush over the dough.
    • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella evenly on top.
  4. Bake
    • Preheat oven to 200 °C (400 °F). Bake 12–15 minutes until golden and cheese is melted and bubbly.
  5. Garnish and serve
    • Sprinkle with parsley or extra garlic butter if desired. Serve warm.
