Garlic herb butter lobster tails

Posted on March 18, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a simple and delicious way to make Garlic Herb Butter Lobster Tails at home:

🦞 Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 2 lobster tails
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional, for color)
  • Salt and black pepper
  • Lemon wedges for serving

👨‍🍳 Method

1. Prepare Lobster Tails

  1. Thaw lobster tails if frozen.
  2. Using kitchen scissors, cut down the top shell (lengthwise) and gently pull apart the shell slightly.
  3. Loosen meat from the shell but keep it attached at the base.

2. Make Garlic Herb Butter

  1. Melt butter in a small pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic, parsley, paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook 1–2 min until fragrant.

3. Cook Lobster Tails

Option A: Broil

  • Preheat oven broiler.
  • Place lobster tails meat-side up on a baking tray.
  • Brush generously with garlic herb butter.
  • Broil 8–12 min, until meat is opaque and lightly golden.

Option B: Grill

  • Preheat grill to medium-high.
  • Place lobster tails meat-side up.
  • Brush with garlic herb butter and grill 5–7 min until cooked.

4. Serve

  • Drizzle remaining garlic herb butter on top.
  • Serve with lemon wedges and your favorite side (rice, salad, or roasted veggies).

💡 Tips

  • Don’t overcook lobster; it becomes rubbery. Meat should be opaque and firm.
  • You can add a splash of white wine to the butter for extra flavor.
  • Pair with crusty bread to soak up the butter.
