Baked potato

Here’s an easy baked potato you can make crispy outside and fluffy inside 🥔✨

Classic Baked Potato

Ingredients

  • 1 large potato (russet works best)
  • 1–2 tsp oil (olive or any cooking oil)
  • Salt
  • Butter & toppings (optional)

Oven Method

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and dry the potato well.
  3. Poke holes all over with a fork (important).
  4. Rub with oil and sprinkle with salt.
  5. Place directly on oven rack or on a tray.
  6. Bake 45–60 minutes, until soft inside.
  7. Cut open, fluff with a fork, add butter or toppings.

Microwave + Oven (Faster)

  1. Wash, dry, poke holes.
  2. Microwave 5–7 minutes, turning once.
  3. Brush with oil, sprinkle salt.
  4. Bake at 425°F for 10–15 minutes to crisp the skin.

Topping Ideas

  • Butter + salt (classic)
  • Cheese + sour cream
  • Cheese + broccoli
  • Beans + cheese
  • Yogurt + herbs (lighter option)
