Classic choice 🍔—let’s keep it simple and juicy.
Easy Beef Burger Patties
Makes 4 patties
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 is best for flavor)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Optional (but good):
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Gently mix beef with seasonings (don’t overwork it).
- Divide into 4 equal portions.
- Shape into patties about Âľ-inch thick.
- Press a small dimple in the center of each patty (prevents puffing).
- Cook:
- Grill: medium-high, 3–4 min per side
- Skillet: medium-high with a little oil, 3–4 min per side
- Add cheese during the last minute if using.
- Rest 2 minutes, then serve.
Pro Tips
- Don’t press the patties while cooking—keeps them juicy.
- Cold meat = better burgers. Form patties straight from the fridge.
- Salt right before cooking for max juiciness.
