Beef cheese ball

Posted on March 17, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a classic Beef Cheese Ball recipe—a creamy, savory appetizer perfect for parties, snacks, or sandwiches.

🧀 Beef Cheese Ball

🧂 Ingredients (Serves 6–8)

  • 225g cooked ground beef (or corned beef, finely crumbled)
  • 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2–3 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1–2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional coating: chopped pecans, parsley, or crushed crackers

🔪 Instructions

1. Mix the base

  1. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, shredded cheddar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Fold in cooked beef and chopped green onions until well mixed.

2. Shape the ball

  • Form the mixture into a round ball (or small individual balls for appetizers).

3. Coat

  • Roll the cheese ball in chopped nuts, parsley, or crushed crackers for texture and extra flavor.

4. Chill

  • Refrigerate at least 1–2 hours before serving to let it firm up.

5. Serve

  • Serve with crackers, sliced baguette, or fresh vegetables.

🌟 Tips

  • Variations: Add cooked bacon, jalapeños, or smoked paprika for a twist.
  • Make-ahead: Keeps well in the fridge for 3–4 days.
  • Party presentation: Serve on a platter with assorted crackers and a garnish of herbs.

If you want, I can also give a slow-cooker warm beef cheese ball dip version that’s creamy and perfect for dipping with chips or bread.
