A boiled egg is one of the simplest, most versatile snacks or meal components 🥚

Types of boiled eggs:

  • Soft-boiled: yolk is runny, white is set (~4–6 minutes)
  • Medium-boiled: slightly set yolk (~7–8 minutes)
  • Hard-boiled: fully set yolk (~9–12 minutes)

Tips for perfect boiled eggs:

  • Start eggs in cold water and bring to a gentle boil
  • After boiling, place in ice water for a few minutes to stop cooking and make peeling easier
  • Can be eaten plain, with salt & pepper, or used in salads, sandwiches, or snacks

Quick, portable, and packed with protein—basically a “snack that works anywhere.”
