Posted on January 10, 2026 by Admin

Here’s a rich, melt-in-your-mouth Butter Pecan Fudge—sweet, buttery, and perfect for holidays or gifting 🧈🌰

🧈🌰 Butter Pecan Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar (light or dark)
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Toast pecans
In a dry skillet, toast pecans over medium heat until fragrant. Set aside.
  2. Cook butter & sugar
In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar and heavy cream.
Bring to a gentle boil and cook 2–3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Add vanilla
Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and salt.
  4. Beat in powdered sugar
Gradually beat in powdered sugar until smooth and thick.
  5. Fold in pecans
    Stir in toasted pecans.
  6. Set fudge
Quickly spread into a greased or parchment-lined 8×8-inch pan.
Let cool completely (about 2 hours) before cutting.

🌟 Tips & Variations

  • Extra buttery: Add 1 tbsp butter at the end before spreading.
  • Creamier fudge: Substitute half the powdered sugar with white chocolate chips.
  • Southern-style: Add a splash of maple extract or bourbon.
  • Microwave version: Melt butter, sugar, and cream together, then mix in remaining ingredients.

If you want, I can share a no-cook butter pecan fudge or a white chocolate butter pecan version that’s even creamier.
