Ah, cheesecake! A rich, creamy dessert that can be made in many ways—from classic New York style to no-bake versions. Here’s a classic baked cheesecake recipe:


Ingredients:

For the crust:

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup melted butter

For the filling:

  • 4 packages (8 oz each) cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream (optional for extra creaminess)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
  2. Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Press firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar and vanilla, mixing well.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, making sure each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
  5. Fold in sour cream (if using) for extra creaminess.
  6. Pour filling over the crust in the pan.
  7. Bake for 55–70 minutes, until the center is almost set (slightly jiggly is okay).
  8. Let it cool completely, then chill in the fridge for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  9. Optional: Top with fruit, chocolate, caramel, or whipped cream before serving.
