Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 3 tbsp butter, melted
  • 2–3 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 tsp garlic powder)
  • 1½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Prep
    • Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
    • Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment.
  2. Shape dough
    • Roll or stretch dough into a rectangle or circle, about ¼-inch thick.
  3. Garlic butter
    • Mix melted butter with garlic.
    • Brush generously over dough.
  4. Cheese it up
    • Sprinkle mozzarella evenly.
    • Add Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Bake
    • Bake 12–15 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
  6. Finish
    • Brush with a little more garlic butter if you’re feeling bold.
    • Sprinkle parsley.
    • Slice into sticks and serve hot.

Tips

  • Use whole-milk mozzarella for best melt.
  • For extra crispy edges, bake on the lowest rack.
  • Want them softer? Brush butter after baking instead.
