🎄 Christmas Jam Recipe
Makes about 3–4 jars
Ingredients
- 500 g (3 cups) strawberries, chopped
- 2 oranges (zest + juice)
- 1 apple, peeled & grated
- 750 g jam sugar (or sugar + pectin)
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground cloves
- ½ tsp ground ginger
- Optional: pinch of nutmeg or star anise
Instructions
- Put strawberries, apple, orange zest & juice in a large pot.
- Bring to a gentle boil and simmer 10 minutes until fruit softens.
- Add sugar and spices. Stir until sugar fully dissolves.
- Boil rapidly for 5–10 minutes until setting point is reached.
- Remove from heat, skim foam.
- Pour into sterilized jars, seal, and cool.
