Here’s a super-easy crockpot steak bites recipe—tender, flavorful, and hands-off 🥩🍲


🥩 Crockpot Steak Bites

Ingredients (serves 4)

  • 1–1½ lb (450–680 g) sirloin, ribeye, or flank steak, cut into 1–2 inch cubes
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (for browning, optional)
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp smoked paprika or red pepper flakes for a kick
  • Optional garnish: chopped parsley

Instructions

  1. Optional sear
    Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Quickly sear steak cubes 1–2 minutes per side for extra flavor (optional but tasty).
  2. Combine in crockpot
    Place steak bites in the slow cooker. Add beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire, garlic, onion powder, and optional spices. Stir to combine.
  3. Cook
    Cover and cook:

    • Low: 3–4 hours
    • High: 1.5–2 hours
      until steak is tender but not falling apart.
  4. Optional thickening
    If you want a thicker sauce, remove steak bites and stir in 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water. Cook 10 minutes on high until thickened, then return steak to sauce.
  5. Serve
    Sprinkle with parsley. Serve over rice, mashed potatoes, pasta, or with roasted veggies.

🌟 Variations

  • Garlic butter steak bites: Add 2 tbsp butter and extra garlic at the end.
  • Spicy Asian: Add 1–2 tsp sriracha and a drizzle of honey.
  • Mushroom steak bites: Add 1 cup sliced mushrooms 30 minutes before done.
  • Creamy option: Stir in 1/2 cup heavy cream at the end for a rich sauce.
