How to Cook Green Beans

1️⃣ Simple & Fresh (quick side)

  • Trim ends
  • Boil or steam 4–5 minutes until bright green
  • Toss with butter, salt, pepper, and a squeeze of lemon

2️⃣ Garlic Sautéed Green Beans

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet
  • Add minced garlic, then green beans
  • Sauté 6–8 minutes until tender-crisp
  • Season with salt & pepper

3️⃣ Roasted Green Beans (crispy edges)

  • Toss with olive oil, salt, pepper
  • Roast at 425°F / 220°C for 15–20 minutes
  • Optional: parmesan or almonds

4️⃣ Southern-Style Green Beans

  • Simmer green beans with bacon or ham, onion, and broth
