🍖 Honey Garlic Ribs (Serves 4–6)

Ingredients

  • 2–3 lbs pork ribs (baby back or spare ribs)
  • Salt & black pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce (low sodium if possible)
  • 2 tbsp ketchup or hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
  • Optional: ½ tsp chili flakes or sriracha

Instructions

1️⃣ Prep the ribs

  • Remove the silver membrane from the back of the ribs (recommended).
  • Season lightly with salt and pepper.

2️⃣ Make the honey garlic sauce

Mix together:

  • Honey
  • Soy sauce
  • Garlic
  • Ketchup
  • Vinegar
  • Chili flakes (if using)

🔥 Cooking Methods

Oven (Best Sticky Finish)

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. Place ribs on foil-lined pan, pour half the sauce over ribs.
  3. Cover tightly with foil and bake 2–2½ hours until tender.
  4. Uncover, brush with remaining sauce.
  5. Broil 3–5 minutes until caramelized and sticky.

Slow Cooker (Easiest)

  1. Place ribs in slow cooker, pour all sauce over ribs.
  2. Cook LOW 5–6 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  3. For extra stickiness, broil 3–5 minutes after cooking.

  • Coleslaw
  • Corn on the cob
  • Baked beans
  • Rice or mashed potatoes
