No-bake chocolate oatmeal balls 🍫🥣—easy, chewy, and perfect for a quick snack or dessert. No oven needed!

No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Balls

Ingredients (makes ~12–15 balls)

  • 1½ cups rolled oats
  • ½ cup peanut butter (or almond/cashew butter)
  • ⅓ cup honey or maple syrup
  • ¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional mix-ins: chocolate chips, shredded coconut, chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Mix ingredients
  • In a bowl, combine oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
  • Add peanut butter, honey, and vanilla.
  • Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  • Fold in any optional mix-ins.
  1. Form balls
  • Scoop 1–2 tbsp dough and roll into balls with your hands.
  • If dough is sticky, refrigerate 10 minutes before rolling.
  1. Chill
  • Place balls on a plate or tray.
  • Refrigerate 30 minutes to set.
  1. Serve & store
  • Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 1 week.
  • Freeze for longer storage.

Tips

  • Use old-fashioned oats for chewy texture; quick oats make them softer.
  • Add a little milk if mixture is too dry.
  • Roll in cocoa powder, shredded coconut, or crushed nuts for a fun coating.

I can also give you a 5-minute version with chocolate chips or peanut butter-free version if you want.

Do you want the ultra-quick 5-minute version?
