👩🍳 Oven Method
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
2️⃣ Season steak with oil/butter, garlic powder, paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper.
3️⃣ Layer steak and onions in the center of a large sheet of heavy-duty foil.
4️⃣ Seal tightly into a packet (fold edges well to trap steam).
5️⃣ Bake 20–30 minutes, depending on steak thickness and preferred doneness.
For more browning: Open the foil for the last 5 minutes.
🔥 Grill Method
- Place sealed packet on medium heat.
- Cook 15–25 minutes, flipping halfway.
🧈 Flavor Boost Ideas
- Add a splash of Worcestershire before sealing
- Top with a pat of garlic herb butter after cooking
- Sprinkle with shredded provolone and broil briefly
- Finish with fresh parsley
🥔 Make It a Full Meal
Add thin potato slices or sweet potatoes to the packet (just slice thin so they cook through).
